See which Etsy listings are AI-made, and why.
HandSift is a free browser extension for Etsy shoppers who want handmade work. It labels AI-generated listings in search results and always shows its reasons.
Two kinds of labels
AI ยท disclosed
The seller says AI was used, in the title, description, tags, or materials. A fact.
Likely AI
No disclosure, but several clues add up. HandSift's estimate, and it can be wrong.
Built to avoid wrongly flagging artists
HandSift prefers missing an AI listing over mislabeling a real maker. It ignores sellers who say they don't use AI, never treats one weak clue as proof, and lets you choose how cautious it is. Today it reliably catches sellers who disclose AI; most undisclosed AI isn't detected yet.
Your choice of what happens
Label
Add a badge and keep the listing visible.
Blur
Blur flagged photos, with a one-click reveal.
Hide
Remove flagged listings from the results.
Private by design
HandSift only sends the ID numbers of the listings on the Etsy page you're viewing, so it can look up those listings through Etsy's official API. No account, no tracking, no ads, nothing about you. Read the privacy policy.
